Meet The Team

Dr Parfitt is a dedicated general practitioner based in Aberdeen with extensive experience in family medicine both in private and NHS practices. Her medical interests include complex medical conditions, gut health, dermatology, psychiatry, and sexual healthcare. She graduated from Edinburgh University and completed her postgraduate training in Dundee and Northumbria. Her research contributions include published papers in childhood eczema and latex allergy. In her previous role in a research practice in Cambridgeshire I engaged in managing multiple medications and chronic pain. Whilst a GP Partner she has established specialised clinics for womens' health. Before joining the frontline COVID services, she gained certification in alcohol and substance misuse management. She has also received training in anthropological medicine and the health management of individuals with learning disabilities. Outside of work Dr Parfitt enjoys sailing with her grown up family and is a keen bee keeper.
