Meet The Team

Dr Emily Parfitt is a dedicated General Practitioner based in Aberdeen, with extensive experience in family medicine across both NHS and private healthcare settings. Emily's special interests include complex medical conditions, gut health, dermatology, psychiatry, and sexual healthcare. Dr Parfitt graduated from the University of Edinburgh and completed her postgraduate medical training in Dundee and Northumbria. Alongside her clinical work, she has contributed to medical research, with published papers focusing on childhood eczema and latex allergy. During her time in a research practice in Cambridgeshire, she developed further expertise in the management of chronic pain and complex medication regimes. As a GP Partner Dr Parfitt has established specialised clinics for womens' health. Emily also holds certification in alcohol and substance misuse management and has undertaken additional training in anthropological medicine and the healthcare management of individuals with learning disabilities. Outside of work Dr Parfitt enjoys sailing with her grown up family and is a keen bee keeper.
